Chapter One
Earth 175 AF
Food was scarce, animals scarcer still, it was against the law to go beyond the walls of the city, to hunt.
Elise didn’t care, she needed food, and she was bound and determined to get some.
She stealthily made her way through the woods, hoping to catch something, anything that would make her stomach stop growling.
She found a stream along the way and decided to see if any fish were in it.
Walking along the stream Elise was searching the depths for anything swimming when she noticed something sticking to the rocks,
bending down she noticed it was a back pack. Opening it up she notice a knife, some food, spare clothes, just basic survival gear, until she reached the bottom of the pack.
Wrapped in oil treated leather was a journal. She was curious as to what was so important that someone would protect it so thoroughly.
Cracking it open, she couldn’t believe her eyes, she began to read something that would change her life, and the world.

Beginning Date: September 1, 100 AF Things over the past seventy-five years had gotten pretty bad, the population was near depletion,
if something didn’t happen soon the human race was going to be extinct. The men that were saved before the fallout had produced very few offspring,
and the offspring they had produced were infertile. Something to do with their testosterone levels being too low,
due to the drugs the government used to curb aggression.
